Advanced Academy of Dentistry Founder & Internationally Renowned Clinician
Known for his advanced surgical skills and genuine passion for patient care, Dr Ali is a leading figure in both the UK and international dental communities.
After obtaining his Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of England (MJDF RCS) of the Royal College of Surgeons, Dr Ali underwent surgical training under the guidance and mentorship of Professor Hilt Tatum – an innovator in implant dentistry who invented the sinus bone graft procedure in 1975.
In addition to performing implant procedures across multiple practices in the UK and the Middle East, Dr Ali is a trainer, mentor, and dental implant lead at the Dental Care Group. His expert training under some of the dental industry’s most prominent professors, including the globally renowned dental implant surgeon Dr Balwant Vekaria, is a testament to his place as a leader in transformative dentistry.
Meet the team
Dr Anup Ladva is a highly accomplished dentist with over two decades of experience, specialising in primary care and advanced prosthodontics. A King’s College London graduate, he holds an MClinDent in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with Distinction and now teaches on the same programme. Dr Ladva is passionate about ethical, high-quality dental care and has mentored many young dentists in Essex and beyond.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr Ladva has undergone extensive training in aesthetic dentistry and digital techniques and is a member of leading dental organisations. His courses offer a hands-on, problem-solving approach, helping students apply advanced techniques systematically.
Bharath has over 20 years of experience in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which began with his BDS degree in 2004 from India. Following this, he trained at the Royal London Hospital, completing the PGDDS course in 2007, with a focus on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Medicine. His extensive training in craniofacial distraction, trauma management, orthognathic surgery, along with head and neck skin surgery at various units including University Hospital Coventry, Southampton General Hospital, and Peterborough City Hospital, has shaped him into the surgeon he is today.
He has been a Locum Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Peterborough City Hospital for nine years. Giving back to the profession that has nurtured him has always been integral to him. In line with this, he acts as a Regional Advisor for Dentistry for the East of England through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPS Glas.) and is an associate member and faculty member of the Strasbourg Osteosynthesis Research Group (SORG) for pre-prosthetic surgery.
He also lectures on various current topics relevant to Oral Surgery via diverse platforms runs a hands-on trauma management courses for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery trainees. Furthermore, he mentors colleagues in dental implantology and pre-prosthetic surgery. His special interest lies in full mouth implant rehabilitation with All-on-4/All-on-6 same-day teeth treatments.
At The Ackerman Clinic, he is part of one of the few centers in the country that offers IPS Sub-Periosteal implants from KLS Martin.
Victor Gehani qualified in 2000 and after spending a year at the Eastman Dental Institute, has worked in a General Dental Practice in the UK. He has gained postgraduate qualifications with the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England (2003), Facutly of General Practice UK (2004) and from Bristol University (Postgraduare Dental Studies 2007).
In 2007 the Pierre Fauchard Academy bestowed an honorary fellowship upon him for his contribution towards teaching and education in Dentistry. Victor regularly attends postgraduate courses to update and enhance his knowledge and skills in Dentistry and also lectures and examines for postgraduare dental courses and examinations. Victor has completed a teaching qualification and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK.
He regularly teaches and examines other dentists. With several years of experience in implant dentistry, Victor has completed and MSc in implantology from the University of Warwick (UK) and has been awarded a Fellowships from the International Congress in Oral Implantology (ICOI) and International Academy of Dento-facial Esthetics (IADFE). He has also completed a Post graduate certificate course in Restorative Dental Practice from the Eastman Dental Institute and a Masters in Clinical Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Ulster.
He is one of the directors of the Advanced Centre of Excellence (ACE), a postgraduate UK training academy delivering teaching Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry at Diploma Level (Level 7)
